The Mahara Journal has been designed by Randall Hasson for Paper and Ink Arts and is the preferred journal for Randall’s Layered Journal workshops. These journals feature genuine acid-free, 100% cotton, 280 gsm (130lb) soft cold press all media watercolor paper and contain 36 bound sheets with natural deckle edges. This hand-made paper is heavily sized to be pleasant to work with a variety of media including: pen and ink, pastel, watercolor and acrylics.The sheets are a familiar 11×15″ size (1/4 22×30″ sheet size) making them perfect for quick sketches or serious paintings. These journals are impeccably hand sewn and bound in an old world method. The outside dimension of these journals is 11-1/2 x 15-3/4″.
