One of the primary privileges of Mr. Hasson’s work is joining together with clients to create a work of art which is specific to their family story, experience or passion.

We share upon these pages the images which have been commissioned by individuals, corporations or groups who were inspired by Randall’s work. Bringing together image and text to illustrate people, passion’s or ideas in a Legacy Commission.

Ordering a Legacy Commission |

Due to the complex nature, composition and detail of the work – commissions take several weeks or months to complete. We ask for advance planning due to the extensive process involved which is a collaboration between client and artist.

You will also gather your images or have an idea of the type of image you are seeking to capture. Mr. Hasson often takes photographs personally to establish the initial visual concept. Secondly you will want to gather together the significant words, phrases, songs, poems or thoughts that you wish to present upon the canvas.

You will also want to have an idea of the size you are looking for.

The price of the painting is based upon size, image, and the amount of text that appears on the canvas. As you can imagine, the less complicated the painting, the less time, the less costly. Elaborate works can take several months of research and execution time and will be more costly. The composition and layering techniques are quite complicated so that all the elements of the work must be properly gathered prior to the start of the painting. A draft image is created for approval and once approved…barring normative artistic license…the painting is commissioned with a non-refundable 50% retainer. Portraits or paintings with minimal text typically range from $3,000.00 to $10,000.00.
Contemplative Paintings with complex layered text range from $6,000.00 to $20,000.00.
